About This Activity
Voyagers (Counselors-in-Training) is a TWO-session program! Spend Session-1 experiencing intensive training activities with your peers, including: discovering your leadership potential; enhancing your skills in group dynamics and communication; understanding the delivery of camp programs and operations; and traditional camp activities. Voyagers go home after Session-1 and return for either Session-2 or Session-3. As a new apprentice staff, join your unit staff, during Pre-camp of your designated session, to help collaborate and finalize plans for your unit, fully prepared and ready to welcome campers for their full week of camp. Your Voyager registration is NOT complete until the following items have been completed and returned: Camper registration including $200 deposit; Voyager application and questionnaire; and three references. Apprenticeship unit placement is subject to an evaluation by Voyager staff. All registrations include: camp t-shirt & hooded sweatshirt (NOTE: even years full-zip, odd years pullover), camp patch and memory book. Space is LIMITED! Preference is given to Voyagers entering 12th grade. If there are openings after March 1, those entering 11th grade will be considered.
