About This Activity
Have you ever wanted to create a game or build a robot? During this week-long camp, GFS computer science teacher Colin Pigeon will introduce the fundamentals of coding through the programming language, Scratch. Campers will also learn how to build and program Lego robotics. The camp will take place in GFS’s computer lab and is perfect for elementary-aged students who have little to no exposure to coding. GFS high school students who participate in the school’s annual Quack-a-thon will also help facilitate the camp! Camp will conclude with a live robot battle that parents and families can attend.
