About This Activity

Moonbase Artemis has been established, and now our job is to keep expanding the lunar facilities and further grow our space exploration efforts! Faced with daily challenges, campers will build upon their coding and robotics skills as we work together to solve complex space-themed problems using Botley's Dash coding bots. NASA’s current plan of expanding Moonbase Artmetis (Mission Artemis II) will serve as a point of context and learning for our daily activities, which include missions inspired by NASA's Engineering Design Process that are meant to build creative problem solving skills. Alongside Teacher Danita Knight-Paulis and Teacher Ezra Burstein, campers will program their DashBots to maneuver through complex obstacles and use accessories like a launcher and gripper to transport materials throughout our moonbase. This camp is great for young learners with a passion for coding and robotics who seek to challenge themselves by solving complex problems in a collaborative setting.
