About This Activity
This camp will utilize some of the ‘Coding in Minecraft’ curriculum, which is a computer science credential program with support delivered through Minecraft Education. The pathway is composed of four courses with teacher-graded micro-credentials, which immerse students in a Minecraft world to develop and prove their coding skills. The Introduction and Intermediate courses are in block-based coding using Microsoft MakeCode. The Advanced courses are in text-based coding using either JavaScript or Python. Teyanie is TPS' STEAM Integration Specialist, who has worked as a robotics and STEAM instructor for several camps and the Steppingstone Scholars Organization. She is excited to continue to integrate science, technology, and engineering with other subject areas for students of all ages.
