About This Activity
Nothing beats a day building forts with friends! Together we ask “What makes a great shelter?” Learn about how to improve your designs for sturdiness, waterproofing, ventilation, insulation and material gathering, while creating awesome structures using imagination and teamwork. GeoVentures is dedicated to reconnecting people with the outdoors through nature-based adventures. Utilizing games, technology and unique storylines, programs introduce participants to new activities that encourage a healthy lifestyle and connection with the world that surrounds them. Former TPS science teacher, Wendy Furry, leads this organization.
