What a come-back…. The ever-popular You Go Girls (YGG), a program that supports sisterhood and self-esteem in the context of running. Campers will run 1.5 - 3 miles throughout the week on the Schuylkill Banks, to Penn Park, up the Art Museum stairs, or down UPenn's Locust Walk. When the weather isn't suitable for running, YGG participants will work on goal setting, movement indoors, and developing a healthy body image. Each day they will finish with a closing appreciation circle. Former TPS teacher and founding YGG instructor, Meg Waldron, has decided to pass the baton onto Sabrina Anderson. Sabrina is a former division one track and field athlete at the University of New Hampshire and a division two women’s pole vaulter in the America East Conference. She has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nutrition and Health from the University of New Hampshire and currently works at TPS as an ASEP teacher and substitute. Please note: There is no camp on June 19. This camp is open to all genders and levels. Campers need proper running shoes and layers for colder weather.
