About This Activity
Get your passports ready for a week of global exploration with GFS Kindergarten teacher, Chef Kimberli! Each day, campers will be transported to a different continent by exploring the tastes, smells, and foods that are integral to a specific country's culture. Campers will learn how to make a dish and create crafts that are influenced by that country. We will also taste foods from local restaurants that are experts in that country's cuisine. Get ready to travel the world without even leaving camp! Each camper will receive a copy of Deanna F. Cook’s Cooking Class Global Feast: 44 Recipes That Celebrate the World’s Culture, which will influence this camp.
