About This Activity
Learn about our world through outdoor explorations, and safe, nature-friendly science experiments! In the mornings, students will dive into the fascinating world of animals and plants through adventures, encounters, and games. In the afternoon we become nature chemists experimenting with plants to cause magic color changes, playing with non-newtonian slimes, creating rainbow volcanoes and more! Each day will include games, hands-on activities, discussion and teamwork. GeoVentures is dedicated to reconnecting people with the outdoors through nature-based adventures. Utilizing games, technology and unique storylines, programs introduce participants to new activities that encourage a healthy lifestyle and connection with the world that surrounds them. Former TPS science teacher, Wendy Furry, leads this organization. (Please note: All participants wear comfortable shoes & clothing. A water bottle and a substantial snack should be packed with their lunch.)
