Skateboarding does more than just build physical strength—it engages the entire body and mind. Physically, it improves balance, coordination, flexibility, and cardiovascular health. Kids will also develop endurance and core strength as they push, kick, and master tricks. Mentally, skateboarding fosters focus, patience, and stress management. The repetitive, rhythmic movements can help quiet the mind, reduce anxiety, and boost mood. Skateboarding also releases natural mood enhancers like endorphins and dopamine, contributing to a sense of achievement and self-confidence. This club is open to students in K-8. No prior experience is required. Skateboards will be provided. Participants will need to bring their own helmets, hand/wrist-, knee-, and elbow-guards.
