About This Activity
Grade 8: Patterns and Predictions This problem-solving class will emphasize linear relationships and other mathematical patterns that form the foundation of algebraic thinking. Students will study important definitions such as equivalence and simplification and hone fundamental skills such as graphing. In addition to exploring different types of problems, students will practice double-checking their work and honing their procedural fluency. The primary goal of the class is to enable students to have a successful year of math in the eighth grade.
