Have fun creating a design on a printed paper shell shape that will be put on a string to create a necklace. This shell decorating activity is inspired by the beautiful shell jewelry made by the Ancestral Sonoran Desert People (the Hohokam).
This craft kit includes craft materials, step-by step instructions, and designs created by the Ancestral Sonoran Desert People.
Cost: $2 per student/craft
Each Craft Kit order includes the materials for the craft and a set of PowerPoint step-by-step instructions. There is no in-person instruction for this activity.
