This recorded program (15 - 20 mins in length) highlights the ingenuity of the ancestral Sonoran Desert people (the Hohokam) and how they managed water in a desert environment around A.D. 450 to 1450. Discover how and why they constructed the largest canal system in the North America without metal tools. Learn about the plants cultivated and collected by this hard-working group of desert farmers.
