The Junior Camp Counselor Program (JCC) is a volunteer youth development program aimed to provide leadership, educational, and responsibility-based life skill development for teenagers between the ages of 14 and 17. Under the supervision of Education Instructors, Junior Camp Counselors will interact with campers, assist with curriculum activities and serve as leaders in camp spirit and motivation. Requirements: • Age: 14-17 years • Must complete required application/interview process (applications close midnight Friday, May 15th) • Must attend week-long training session May 26th – May 29th from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM • Must commit to at least two full weeks (Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. daily) of camp anytime during the summer season (June 1st through July 24th) • You will be marked as available for ALL weeks you enter in ACTIVE. Participant Fees: There is a $35.00 participation fee which each Junior Camp Counselor must provide after acceptance into the program. Program Goals & Benefits: 1.
