Explore the ins and outs of what it takes to keep our pets happy and healthy. Our Jr. Animal Doctors will use mock animal medical examinations to learn how to collect and measure heart rates, temperatures, weights, and more! We’ll also examine ways we can improve the lives of pets by focusing on their mental health! Animal Ed-Ventures Homeschool is a program developed for homeschool youth that incorporates humane education with STEAM concepts that are aligned with Arizona State standards. These interactive, science-focused education programs will inspire compassion and empathy towards animals and benefit the pets and people of our community. Animal Ed-Ventures Homeschool programs are held at AHS’ Campus for Compassion location the first and third Wednesday of each month. Each program is 1.5 hours and introduces a specific theme each month. We will be following CDC guidelines and all attendees will be required to wear masks. To protect the health of your family and our staff, we will maintain social distancing and instructors will also be temperature tested prior to the start of the program. Only the paid participant may attend with one optional adult. Unpaid siblings and additional guests will not be permitted to stay.
