About This Activity
Sailors under 12 are required to be registered in our half-day-on-water program in order to make sailing camp the best possible experience! Our 1/2 day program is also open to sailors over 12 that were not able to meet the limited number of seats in the full-day on water. Sailors will sail half the day (in either the morning or afternoon session), and will spend the other half of the day doing sailing activities on-land, team building activities, and other fun camp events, to make sure everyone is having a blast! Our camp is based around the Cansail program curriculum, with our camp focused on giving sailors confidence and skills to sail safely while having as much fun as possible, rather than focusing on attaining levels. Camp runs from 9:00AM-4:00 PM each day with a 1 hour break for lunch, where sailors can stay at camp or go home to eat. Sailing is a very weather dependent, but camp will still go on with many fun and engaging on-shore activities. A Coast Guard Approved (CGA) Lifejacket is mandatory for all on water activities. As well as water shoes, swimsuit, wetsuit, sun screen. Onshore - athletic running shoes, sweat pants, hoodie, extra warm clothes, and a towel. Cancellations prior to our registration close date (June 18th) will receive a full refund minus a small service charge set out by our registration company. Cancellations after June 18th but greater than 1 week before the start of the camp session will receive a 50% refund. Less than 1 week there will be no refund.
