Class reviews entry by stepping or jumping from side, bobbing, head submergence and holding breath, floating on front and back, treading water, side breathing, freestyle, backstroke, and safety skills. Participants will also be introduced to elementary backstroke.
Prerequisite: Participant must be able to demonstrate the following with little or no assistance: safely enter and exit the water, float on front and back without support, swim freestyle the entire length of the pool.
