Swim Level 3 is improvement on front crawl, back crawl, dolphin kick, and treading water. New skills include the elementary backstroke, scissor kick, breaststroke kick. Prerequisites: a Level 2 certificate or swim assessment required to enroll.Additional InformationFor successful completion of this level, students must demonstrate rhythmic breathing on front crawl, back crawl with continuous arm motion and an effective flutter kick, coordinated elementary backstroke with flexed feet, and propulsive dolphin kick, scissor kick, and breaststroke kick. Headfirst entries are also introduced where facilities allow.
