Preschool Swimming is to introduce students to swimming and water safety. Participants will be assessed on the first day of class and, when feasible, will be placed in skill-appropriate groups to promote comfort and success.Additional InformationSkill range will vary from first-time swimmers to independent swimmers, and instruction will be adapted to fit the needs of the group. Skills taught in this course include submersion, floating, gliding, breath control, rudimentary front crawl and back crawl, elementary backstroke kick, and dolphin kick.
