Level 1 Skill or Swim Assessment required to enroll.The objective of Level 2 is for students to learn how to propel themselves on their front and back using alternating and simultaneous arm and leg action. For successful completion of this level, students must demonstrate front crawl with side breathing, the ability to rollover into back crawl, the ability to tread water, and rudimentary understanding of the elementary backstroke kick and dolphin kick, unassisted by an instructor. Prerequisites include ownership of a Level 1 certificate or the ability to demonstrate all skills required to pass Level 1.
