Level 2 Skill or Swim Assessment required to enroll.The objective of Level 3 is continued improvement on front crawl, back crawl, dolphin kick, and treading water. The arms and coordination to the elementary backstroke, scissor kick, breaststroke kick and headfirst entries are introduced. For successful completion of this level, students must demonstrate rhythmic breathing on front crawl, back crawl with continuous arm motion and an effective flutter kick, coordinated elementary backstroke with flexed feet, and propulsive dolphin kick, scissor kick, and breaststroke kick. Prerequisites include ownership of a Level 2 certificate or the ability to demonstrate all skills required to pass Level 2.
