The Heights Baseball coaching staff is committed to offering boys a fun and safe outlet to play Baseball. Come learn America's pastime from our knowledgable coaches. Players, grouped by age and skill, drill in the fundamentals and individual skills of baseball, while learning the game’s “thinking” and strategic aspects. They incorporate the skills and knowledge in various games and settings under the careful eyes of experienced coaches and players. Along with skills and savvy, the staff emphasizes the development of the virtues associated with team play and the overall character of a sportsman. Staff Caoch Jon Fritts and Coach Greg Popatak direct the camp. Coach Fritts is entering his tenth year coaching both the Cavaliers' Middle School and Varsity Baseball teams. He played college baseball at Montgomery College and Clark University. Coach Popatak played his college ball at George Mason. Contact Jon Fritts at The Heights School, jfritts@heights.edu Notes Campers should have cleats, bat, glove, water-bottle, indoor shoes, and baseball pants.
