Children age 6 to 13 who are able to swim 25 meters freestyle and 25 meters backstroke are invited to join the Piranhas Pre-competitive Swim Team. A placement evaluation will be held on March 28 from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. or May 3 from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. at Shawnee Mission East (please bring a swimsuit). Children who do not pass their swim evaluation will lose their swim team spot. Some children who register for the pre-competitive team may be moved up to the competitive team at the placement evaluation.
