Description
This American Red Cross course is a combination of Lifeguard Training and CPR for the Professional Rescuer. This complete course provides all certifications necessary to obtain employment as a lifeguard in the State of California. Prerequisites: The required swimming skills include 300 yards continuously swimming (12 laps), tread water for 2 minutes without hands, and perform a 20-yard swim with a 10 lb. brick retrieval in 7 feet of water. (Must be 15 years old by the last day of class.)*This class requires 7 hours of online course work before the first day of class. One week before the class you will be emailed the pre-course login information.
This class requires 7 hours of online course work before the first day of class. Pre-requisites: be able to swim 300 yards continuously, tread water for 2 minutes without using arms, and perform a 20-yard swim, diving 7-ft to retrieve a 10lbs brick. Online course will be emailed out one week before the class starts. This class does NOT inlcude Title 22 or Administering Emergency Oxygen training.
