About This Activity

This camp empowers kids and youth to develop Islamically inspired views of solving problems using AI. With a play + project-based approach, the classes are intended to first hand show the students how to identify problems and use AI-based skills to address these problems. In solving problems, the entire premise is to create value based on an issue that affects people. And the values created are according to Islamic rulings and perspectives. The teachings incorporate Islamic concepts and examples into each lesson, giving students true perspectives and beneficial reminders. By the end of the program, students will be able to develop an appetite for discovering problems, and, armed with the necessary skills, develop AI-based solutions. Requirement: we ask that students bring a laptop and charger with them to class.  Instructors: Abdulazeez Idris and Youssef Khazbak
