About This Activity
Description
Your young learner is invited on an exciting adventure where art meets technology! Using the world's most popular programming platform for kids, Scratch, your camper will learn to code creating animated characters and mesmerizing patterns. Campers will build algorithms using programming fundamentals such as sequencing, conditionals, loops, functions, events and learn debugging as they create their projects. To balance screen time, we incorporate unplugged activities like making flip-books and spirographs, enhancing the concepts learned in a fun, tangible way. Through combining art and coding, we aim to spark curiosity, foster creativity, and build critical thinking skills.
