About This Activity
Description
Volun-TEEN Adventures aims to introduce Redwood City youth to local non-profit organizations, while developing a culture of volunteerism in our youth and highlighting the significant impact that even one person can have on the lives of others, animals, and the environment. Camp participants will visit various non-profits while earning community service hours during visits to different agencies. Staff will begin each day with discussions and team-building activities that highlight the importance of empathy, responsibility, leadership, and community. After a morning of engaging volunteering, teens will spend the afternoons at local fun field trip destinations! Lunch/Snacks are not provided.
