Description
In our hands-on baking camp, your budding pastry chef will dive into the basics of baking and learn basic food prep skills and best practices for kitchen safety and clean up. Menu:Tuesday - Cupcake DecoratingWe'll start off by customizing my vanilla cake recipe and make buttercream. Your baker will learn how to color buttercream and pipe different designs. After lunch they'll create a 6 pack of cupcakes to bring home.Wednesday - CookiesYour baker will learn how to make several different styles of cookies, from drop, to slice to cut outs, and bring home a variety to share.Thursday - ChocolateYour baker will learn how to temper and work with chocolate for several different applications. We'll make chocolate balloon cups with chocolate mousse and Mini S'mores pies.All ingredients, aprons and equipment are included in the registration fee. All you need to bring is yourself and a to-go container for your creations! Recipes and equipment suggestions will behanded out in camp. Please alert your instructor to any food allergies BEFORE the start of camp so we can plan accordingly.
