The Marine Science Institute offers a variety of engaging activities that connect visitors with the wonders of the San Francisco Bay's marine environment. Participate in educational boat tours, interact with local marine life, and enjoy hands-on science activities designed for all ages. CANOES IN SLOUGHSEmbark on a journey to discover the hidden treasures of Bair Island, a pristine wetland sanctuary teeming with local flora and fauna. As you glide through the serene waters, take in the sights and sounds of nature surrounding you, and what's better than enjoying a delicious lunch right from the comfort of your canoe (lunches not included).
Canoes are sold per family group. Canoe combinations for 1 canoe can include: A. 2 adults (1 minor 12+ is allowed to take an adult space; the other place must be a guardian over 18) B. 2 adults, with 1 or 2 young children (5 - 12 years) C. 3 adults

All Children must be at least five (5) years old and accompanied by guardians who are physically capable of paddling. Your family is responsible for being able to paddle your canoe physically. MSI will not be able to add individuals to any party's canoes. Adult registration is required in addition to all minor registrations.
