About This Activity
Description
A one week swim training camp for older children to learn about Lifeguarding skills, job requirements. Participants will learn through games, swim drills, lectures, discussions, hands-on practice and observation activities.
Bring a swimsuit and towel, goggles, lunch, snacks and water bottle each day. Dress in layers for indoor and outdoor activities. Must pass swim assessment by June 10, 2024. To be arranged by contacting Paula Cooper-Tipton at Paula_Cooper-Tipton@ci.richmond.ca.us or asking Lifeguards during open hours.
