The goal of Jellyfish is to learn basic personal water safety information skills, to help participants feel comfortable in the water and to enjoy the water safely. Students stay in Jellyfish until they are 6 years old, regardless of skill.
Beginning group swim lessons for ages 3-5. 1:5 Instructor:student ratio.
Focus: elementary aquatics skills, developing positive attitudes, good swimming habits and safe practices in and around the water
Skills (Most skills are performed with support)
o safely entering/exiting the water
o blowing bubbles
o bobbing
o opening eyes underwater to retrieve submerged objects
o front and back floats and gliding
o alternating arm and leg action
o combined stroke movement
Limit of one class per person per session. If you sign up for a class that is too advanced, your child may not be able to participate in that class for their own safety. There are no refunds, credits or transfers for missed classes, or if you enroll in the wrong level, session or time.
Mask must be worn inside facility except in the pool/shower. Bring a ziplock bag to keep mask dry on deck.
Bring your own towels and swimsuit AND MASK. Goggles are recommended but not required. We will provide any swim equipment necessary. We do not allow floatation devices for children.
If a registered participant cancels or does not continue in a program, NO REFUND, NO CREDITS, NO TRANSFERS will be given. Failure to abide by rules may result in suspension from program with no refund of fees paid.
