About This Activity
Description
(Practice locations are provided through enrollment) Youth ages 10-11 (through 6th grade) years will now begin to refine and hone their fundamental skills while beginning to understand game strategy. Players will also develop skills including coordination, teamwork and communication. These attributes will influence them for years to come.
This league focuses on the FUNdamentals of basketball: dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, defending and teamwork. Games will be played at local community centers throughout Riverside. Players registered for A, B and C divisions must participate in a skills assessment prior to the league start date. Players enrolled in the Gold A division need not attend. Date and times for skills assessments will be announced mid November on Teamsideline.com/Riverside
