About This Activity
Description
(Practice locations are provided through enrollment) Youth ages 8-9 years will now begin to participate in a more advanced process by keeping score at the games for the first time at the recreation level. The knowledge of the rules and play they received in previous years will be enhanced in the next level of gamesmanship.
This league focuses on the FUNdamentals of basketball: dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, defending and teamwork. Games will be played at local community centers throughout Riverside. Players registered for A, B and C divisions must participate in a skills assessment prior to the league start date. Date and times will be announced mid-November. (Games played on weekends and some weeknights)
