Description
Come expand your skills and improve your technique in Master Classes in Musical Theater Performing Arts & fundamentals in dance training. In this workshop, dancers will have a special opportunity to learn about how to design a production: directing and choreographing a show, assembling costumes, setting the stage & choosing lighting. They will choose 2 to 3 scenes from various musicals to perform at the end of the workshop! Each day’s Itinerary will be as follows; Dancers arrive at RBA 10 minutes before class at 1pm, this class will be the first technical class of the day and will be about an hour and a half long. Following Technique Class, the dancers will have lunch where they will watch clips from various Musicals. After lunch, dancers will have Choreography, Contemporary/Lyrical, Jazz, etc,. The day will end at 2:00pm, at this time dancers will be expected to be picked up on time. Throughout the week the dancers will learn Choreography. These pieces will be featured for one time only in a free performance to conclude the weeks’ intensive. Please note a $25 material fee is due to the instructor at beginning of the first class. Credits and transfers will be allowed if the PRCSD is notified prior to the second class meeting. Due to limited space and high demand, no refunds, credits or transfers will be given for Aquatics, Day Camps or After-School Programs. Online registration transaction fees are non-refundable.
