Learn the fundamentals of Golf while improving motor skills, awareness, and social distancing! Youth will participate in 45 minute clinics at the Fairmount Golf Course in cohorts no larger than 10. Participants will be required to bring their own equipment, including balls and clubs.
Week 1: Putting, chipping and fitness
Week 2: Full swing and fitness
Clinics will practice safe social distancing and proper PPE usage will be demonstrated. All participants will be required to wear athletic attire and bring their own water. No spectators will be allowed during clinic. The clinics will consist of mental and physical health information as it relates to COVID-19. Program information will focus on praising healthy hand washing habits, maintaining mental and physical fitness, healthy eating habits and sports development. Series will include collaboration with health & Wellness non-profits vendors offering information to combat COVID-19.
