Description
Recreation staff conducts drop-in after school for youth 5 - 12 (up to 6th grade) years old to promote and enhanceself - esteem in a supervised environment. Activities include intramural sports, games,homework assistance,and computer activities. The STAR After- School Program is offered at Bordwell, Nichols, Reid and Villegas Parks from 3 - 6pm. ( On Wednesdays is early release days, program will begin at 1:30p.m.) Participants must bring their own snacks.This program does not meet on City holidays, school holidays school in service and operates during the traditional school year (unless noted below) Registration is taken on first come, first served basis and a wait list will be taken after capacity is reached. Space is limited, register early. All locations offer extended care for early release days at $12 resident fee, Non resident fee 18 per participant per month. Additional Sibling Fee $22.50 ea. resident fee , $33.75 non resident fee. And a late fee of $8 resident every 15 minutes late, $12 non resident every 15 minutes late.
Note: No class on 5/25 and 5/29.Note: This program does not meet on City holidays, school holidays, school in-service and/or minimum days and operates during the traditional school year. Registration is taken on a first-come, first-served basis and a wait list will be taken after capacity is reached.
Refunds will be issued for cancelled events and/or classes only. Credits and transfers will be allowed if the PRCSD is notified prior to the second class meeting. Due to limited space and high demand, no refunds, credits or transfers will be given for Aquatics, Day Camps or After-School Programs. Online registration transaction fees are non-refundable.
