About This Activity
Description
Basic Skills teaches the FUNdamentals of ice skating and provides the best foundation for figure skating, hockey, and speed skating. Six progressive levels introduce forward and backward skating, stops, edges, crossovers, and turns. All classes will be well-structured with the focus on proper skill development taught in a positive, FUN, and social environment. Skaters will progress at their own rate and advance after mastery is demonstrated. Skates will be provided. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND ONCE A WEEK, EITHER A TUESDAY OR THURSDAY.
Note: A helmet and other protective gear is recommended but not required. Skaters should dress warm and bring gloves. Please arrive 30 minutes early on the first day of class.
