About This Activity
Description
Our four-week Counselor in Training (CIT) program is designed to equip future leaders with the skills and confidence to create meaningful camp experiences. The first two weeks include training sessions similar to those of our camp staff, focusing on practical lessons in leadership, teamwork, customer service, and camper engagement. In the final two weeks, CITs will be paired with experienced counselors for hands-on learning and real-time mentoring. Under the guidance of our leadership team, participants will grow in areas such as building friendships, making strong first impressions, and supporting campers. Those who complete the program are encouraged to apply for future staff roles, with opportunities to earn certifications along the way.
