About This Activity
We are excited to announce the fall season of Pirates lacrosse for boys in grades 3-5. The goal of the Pirates program is to provide North Cross boys with exposure to the game of lacrosse in a fun and convenient way. Pirates is open to kids of all experience levels (first-timers are welcome and encouraged!) and will meet after school on Thursday on Willis Field until 3:50 pm. This fall, we will focus on fundamental lacrosse skills, drills, and scrimmaging. At this point, it is unlikely that we will have any games, but depending on our numbers, we might be able to set up some "official" intra-squad scrimmages in uniforms and pads toward the end of the season. Boys will need to bring their own stick and are encouraged to bring any gloves or pads that they have. We have an assortment of used gloves and helmets that are available to anyone who needs them.
