About This Activity
Ages 4 to 8 - Very Beginner. Takes place in the shallow end of the pool. Swimmers should feel comfortable submerging underwater, float on front/back and move across the pool with some forward motion and horizontal body position, as well as, on a kickboard. Swimmers work in a group setting to further comfort level in swimming unassisted, and learn the basic introductory components to a successful freestyle and backstroke including kicking, body position, and roll over breathing.
