About This Activity
Our 'مرحبا أطفال' Arabic workshop immerses children in the Arabic language & culture through grammar & sentence structure, poetry, music, art projects, story time and class discussions while enabling them to make personal connections that maximize the overall learning experience. By contrasting and comparing, students gain new perspectives through worksheets, pictures, instructional videos, audio CD's, popular songs, games, and YouTube videos to provide a total immersion experience in the Arabic language & culture. This language-based cultural approach to learning ensures students are grasping new language concepts as well as retaining old ones, leading to long term memory retention in the Arabic language. Students are grouped by age & level of language proficiency. This is an intensive 10-week immersion program comprising 1.5 hours each WEDNESDAY with varied enrichment activities spaced out every 20 mins in class. **GainVille will be closed during Columbus Weekend, Thanksgiving weekend, Winter Recess Feb 14-17 and Easter weekend.
