Young kids will be introduced or expand their understanding to the game of basketball. Participants will improve their fundamentals for the game through a sequence of shooting and dribbling drills. These drills teach proper techniques which can be translated on the court through daily scrimmages at the end of each session.
This basketball program is designed for 6-to-8-year-olds, with instruction being led by South Bay Rec's very own, and teacher of the game, Coach KC.
Participants are encouraged to practice the taught lessons throughout the week with the idea to build on those skills and moving through a weekly progression of the game's fundamentals.
