Start your summer with a private pool party in Mission Beach. Enjoy the non-stop fun from an inflatable obstacle course, basketball hoop, heated pool, and games with a great beach view. Bring any swim supplies you need (towel, goggles, etc...) Don't forget a change of clothes. Dinner provided in the cost. Pick-up and drop-off at the round-a-bout between Hamels and the Lifeguard tower (700 Ventura Place, 92109).
Number of current participants accepted into the program is limited due to impacts of parks and recreation hiring freeze. Please join the waitlist if the program becomes full. Participants will be taken off of the waitlist if additional staff are available.
The Summer Nights program is for Kick Back Club, Social Motion Club, and Independent Club members. The group is for teens and adults with a cognitive impairment. It is designed to increase leisure independence, community functioning and build social skills through experiential opportunities within the community and at recreation centers. Register early, space is limited. Must have assessment of file prior to attending the outing.
