About This Activity

Description

Internet Registration has not begun yet. Check Registration Dates in details.

Civic Dance Arts BATON for Baton Twirling. Registering for this code purchases a baton for Beg Baton Twirling 1A KM (Must also enroll in Activity #128400) and/or Beg Baton Twirling 1B WM (Must also enroll in Activity #128403) and/or Adv Beg Baton Twirling 2A (#128610). Instructor will need measurements for ordering the correct size for dancer.

Priority given to continuing students from Fall 2025 semester. Emphasizes choreography for June Recitals. Costumes are mandatory to participate in our June Recitals. Please register for both the class and the costume. Must see instructor at class for more information regarding costumes, sizing, and recital details. New students will need to contact the dance office at 619-235.5255 for assistance with enrollment.

Costumes are made to order and non-refundable. Costumes are mandatory to participate in our June Recitals. It is important to remember that purchasing a costume does not guarantee a dancer will perform in recitals. They must attend classes regularly throughout the spring semester in order to be prepared to perform onstage in June. Dance, like sports, is a team activity. Regular attendance and practice help everyone in the class to shine on recital day.

NO REFUNDS on Costumes, transaction and credit card fees.

Classes meet for 10 sessions and for once a week for 45 minutes (unless indicated otherwise). The classes listed are subject to change/cancellation when enrollment minimums are not met and based on budgetary constraints. Dance instructors have final determination if their class levels are appropriate for the skills of the dancer enrolled. If the class is determined to not be a good fit, the student will be offered a transfer to another class.

NO REFUNDS on batons, transactions or credit card fees.

All participants must meet age requirements. Pre Dancers must be able to separate from parent for entire class and must be potty trained.

Dance Attire Required: Leotard and tights or dance pants/shorts. No jeans allowed at any time. Hair tied back and out of the eyes. Appropriate shoes required. See instructor for more detailed information.
