Civic Dance Arts Jazz Technique 2A/2B/3A is a class designed to take in conjunction with Jazz 2A/2B/3A.Highly recommended that students registering for this class also register for Civic Dance Arts Adv Beg Jazz 2A KM (Activity #111640) - click on link Adv Beg Jazz 2A KM - on Tuesdays at 5:15pm or Adv Beg/Int Jazz 2B/3A KM (Activity #111642) - click on link Adv Beg/Int Jazz 2B/3A KM - on Tuesdays at 6:45pm . During this class students will stretch and strengthen with some basic ballet/modern techniques to compliment level 2A, 2B, & 3A jazz skills. Jazz shoes and proper dance attire required. Please note: Specialized uniform is required for this class, please see instructor at the first class. Dancers should purchase black jazz shoes.
Classes meet for 10 sessions and for once a week for 45 minutes (unless indicated otherwise). The classes listed are subject to change/cancellation when enrollment minimums are not met and based on budgetary constraints. Dance instructors have final determination if their class levels are appropriate for the skills of the dancer enrolled. If the class is determined to not be a good fit, the student will be offered a transfer to another class.
NO REFUNDS on transaction and credit card fees.
All participants must meet age requirements. Pre Dancers must be able to separate from parent for entire class and must be potty trained.
Dance Attire Required: Leotard and tights or dance pants/shorts. No jeans allowed at any time. Hair tied back and out of the eyes. Appropriate shoes required. See instructor for more detailed information.
No classes: City Holidays
Please be advised that parents will not be allowed in the dance room to watch classes as it is disruptive to the students dancing. Parents may watch the last 5 minutes of class only.
