Adventure Trek is going to keep you moving! During the week, we will be trekking through Balboa Park, doing some Geocaching, which is an outdoor recreational activity in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers called “geocaches” or “caches,” anywhere in the world. Groups will create their trails using GPS and find and hide their geocache treasure! Campers will have to think quickly to determine where the trails will lead. Although it is a Speciality Camp, campers also will get to do all of the other awesome activities CaHiTo has to offer, including hiking, arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, organized games, climbing wall (allowing that the camper is eight and up at the start of the program) and much more. Our Specialty Programs include a minimum of 1.5 - 2 hours a day of Specialty specific programming.
