About This Activity
Description
Kids from the ages 5-12 will be able to do hands-on arts and crafts projects that include painting, coloring, drawing, creating small things with paper, and being able to use creative freedom inside class. They will be able to keep their projects and take them home. Each week we will have a new project.
Week 1- Flower Pot Decorating: each kid will get their own flowerpot to decorate however they like.
Week 2- Rocking Painting: Each kid will be able to paint on as many rocks as they would like. They can do any theme they want on the rocks.
Week 3- Animal Kingdom: Everyone will be working together to make an animal Kingdom of paper animals that they will create themselves. They can also make trees and bushes for detail. Then they will work together and put it on a large piece of paper and make a Kingdom with their creations.
Week 4- Creative building with popsicle sticks: Each kid will make their own popsicle structure, first starting off with a cloud with a rainbow. If there is more time they will be able to make even more structures.
