Description
Child and Babysitting Safety class is a community education program for youth ages 11-17, that covers child safety and basic care for infants and children. Topics include: sitter safety, infant and child feeding, diapering procedures, recognizing emergencies and how to handle them, child and infant CPR,& how to handle choking and some first aid. Participants receive a digital download of the booklet and a Babysitter certificate from the American Safety & Health Institute as well as an Infant/Child CPR certificate of participation. Instructor Sue Lockhart has been training babysitters in San Diego county for over 25 years.
Please bring a snack or sack lunch and bottle of water to class.
