About This Activity
The Earth is changing — and so are we. This session we ask: How do we move forward in a way that helps life thrive? “Sweet Wild of Mine” is a week rooted in regeneration, rewilding, and hopeful action. It’s an invitation to grow-up slowly and embrace being a wild child, make memories that last and join a community that won’t turn its back! We’ll explore what it means to restore ecosystems, care for land, and rebuild relationships between people and nature. Together, we’ll imagine futures where cities breathe, ecosystems recover, and communities grow strong by caring deeply for each other and all living things. Where do we go now? Forward — thoughtfully, bravely, and wildly, together. ** This week is a BIGS camp-wide Field Trip Week, offering campers the chance to explore a special destination outside of San Francisco via chartered bus. All locations are familiar, well-loved sites Tree Frog Treks has visited in previous seasons. An additional registration fee supports transportation and entry costs. It's sure to be a highlight of the camp session! Tree Frog Treks Camps are about exploring nature, meeting animals (live rescued reptiles and amphibians) doing science and art and most of all having fun with our new friends outside. Our credo is: Get Out and Get Dirty! And our motto is: Build a Fort, Climb a Tree, Hold a Bug, and Smell the Sea! As always you can count on us to continue supporting your kids and family with the TFT basics: * Outside everyday * Positive social dynamics * Productive play * Science and nature exploration * Get Out and Get Dirty!
