For private lessons you must register at least two working days in advance.
All lessons are 1/2 hour in length (no group or semi-private lessons offered at this time). All patrons (including children) are required to show proof of full vaccination (1st & 2nd dose) against COVID-19.
Before booking with Coach Angel, you must contact aquatics@usfca.edu, confirm that you are a current swimmer, and inform them what strokes you are hoping to work on during your lesson.
Instructor Bio:
Coach Angel (He/Him) has been swimming competitively since the age of 7. Born and raised in sunny Southern California, he trained and competed with Beach Cities Swimming where he swam on their Sectional team. As an age group swimmer, Angel specialized in butterfly and breaststroke events. As Angel started to attend the University of San Francisco, he maintained his love for swimming by coaching the Koret Youth Swim Team. He finds joy in providing young swimmers the knowledge, technique, and discipline to be the best athletes they can be, just as his coaches did for him as a club swimmer. He will graduate with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the Spring of 2025. Angel is available for private stroke technique coaching for swimmers who are interested in improving their form in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke or butterfly.
