This class teaches young athletes the essential skills to lead the crowd and support the home team! Each participant will learn cheers, proper hand/body movements as well as jumping techniques. There is no stunting, just a big focus on fun while each cheerleader learns important life skills such as teamwork and leadership. The program concludes with a final cheer performance. All equipment is provided. Participants should wear appropriate athletic clothing and shoes.
If a class is cancelled, the makeup session will be tentatively scheduled one week after the final class date.

Refunds must be made in writing 14 calendar days prior to the start of the activity.
A $10 Processing Fee applies to each activity cancellation requested by the participant.
NO REFUNDS will be made for requests received LESS THAN 14 calendar days prior to the start of the activity.
If your child requires medication during program hours, a Medication Waiver must be completed for them to use the medication and/or receive assistance administering it while in the program. This includes items such as EpiPens, inhalers, and other prescribed medications. If this is not noted under Special Accommodations during registration, please email Krissy Marquez at Christine.marquez@sanjoseca.gov to communicate your child’s medication needs. This is a City-wide policy to ensure the safety and proper care of all participants during program hours.
